Biography of Antoni Żoƚnierowski

Description:
Born into a lower middle class family in Vitebsk in 1870. Lived in Leningrad, worked in a dining car on the Warsaw Railroad, and was a parishioner of one of the churches. In April 1932 he was arrested in a case against Catholic clergy and laity (Proncketis et al.). In June 1932 he was released for “lack of evidence of a crime.” Source: Shkarovskii, p. 262
