Biography of Jan (Szczepan) Jasnocha, OFM, Cap.

Description:
Entered the Order of St. Francis, Capuchins. In 1939 he made his vows, taking the name Szczepan. He was at the monastery in Lviv and was there at the time of the Soviet occupation. In 1940 he was arrested in Lviv and sent to a camp. In 1942 he was amnestied as a Polish citizen and released. Joined Anders’ Army and accompanied the Second Corps on its military course.
