Biography of Joseph Eberle

Born in the 1890s in a German colony on the Lower Volga. Graduated from Saratov University; in 1918 he belonged to the Catholic Union of Youth. Lived in Krasny Kut and worked as a high school teacher; in 1929 he became a student at the Agriculture Institute in Leningrad. In 1930 he was arrested and drawn into a case against German Catholic clergy and laity. Convicted. Fate thereafter unknown.
