- Born into a peasant family in Martyshki, Święciany district, Vilnius province in 1865. Lived in Leningrad, was a member of the parish council of St. Stanislaus Church. In January 1927 he was arrested, but in July he was released from jail. May 8, 1931 – again arrested in a case against Catholic clergy and laity (Wojno et al.). March 7, 1932 – deprived of the right to live in the twelve largest cities and the borderland regions [OGPU Collegium]. Left Leningrad. Fate thereafter unknown. Source: Shkarovskii, p. 281
