Biography of Father Pietkiavichus

- Graduated from seminary and was ordained. He served in a parish in the Diocese of Kaishiadorys and remained there after the annexation of Lithuania to the USSR and during the German occupation. In December 1946 – after the return of the Red Army and establishment of Soviet rule – mass arrests of clergy and laity got underway, but Fr. Pietkiavichus managed to go into hiding and then became the subject of an all-Union search. Fate thereafter unknown.
