- Lived in Kiev and was a parishioner of St. Alexander Church. In August 1937 he was arrested in a case against Catholic clergy and laity. Charged with being a “member of a Polish counter-revolutionary organization that carried out subversive and espionage activity against the Soviet regime.” December 23, 1937 – sentenced to ten years in corrective labor camp [NKVD Collegium and USSR Office of Public Prosecutor].
