Biography of Piotr Marczyszyn

Description:
Lived in Harbin, Manchuria. He was associated with the Catholic Mission and taught mathematics at a school. was there at the time of the Japanese occupation and after the arrival of Chinese forces. December 22, 1948 – arrested by Chinese authorities and handed over to organs of the [USSR] Ministry of State Security. Transported for further investigation to Chita Prison, where he was tortured. In November 1949 he was sentenced to twenty-five (?) years in corrective labor camp. Sent to Tayshetlag, where he died (exact date of death unknown). Source; L. Peshkova, pp. 4-5
