- She was a nurse during the First World War; from 1917 she lived in Saratov, where she married an agronomist and became a housewife. In 1928, after her husband’s death, she left for Germany to enter a convent. In 1929 she returned to the USSR, worked as a nurse in Balzer, Saratov oblast, and was a parishioner of the local church.
