Biography of Peter Hunger

Description:
Lived in Saratov; from 1918, he was an active member of the German Catholic Youth Association on the Lower Volga. From 1926 he was a student at Saratov Institute, from which he was expelled in 1928 for his “hostile attitude toward measures undertaken by the Soviet regime.” In 1930 – arrested in the case against German Catholic clergy and laity.
