Description:
Born into a peasant family in the German colonies on the Lower Volga. Had a high school education. Lived in Saratov, worked as an unskilled laborer at an electrical station and was a parishioner at St. Klemens Cathedral. In 1930 – arrested in the case against German Catholic clergy and laity.
