- Graduated from seminary and was ordained. Served in Zaslavl. From 1933, he was serving in Gomel, where he was arrested in the summer of 1937 as a “participant in the counter-revolutionary insurgent organization, POV”; charged with espionage and attempts to overthrow the Soviet regime in Belorussia (Awgƚo et al.). August 25, 1937 – sentenced under Articles 72, 66 and 68 of the Criminal Code of the Belorussian SSR to prison camp [by Order of a Special Troika, Directorate, NKVD, Belorussian SSR].
