Biography of Veronika Sobolevskaya

Description:
Born into a peasant family in Sloboda, Rosseny district, Kovno province in 1875. Lived in Leningrad and was the housekeeper for the pastor of St. Casimir Church. May 8, 1931 – arrested in the case against Fr. Stefan Wojno and others. March 7, 1932 – at age 57 – sentenced to three years’ exile in Kazakhstan [OGPU Collegium]. Fate thereafter unknown.
