Biography of Karolina Rigelgof

Description:
Born into a peasant family in Rothammel [Pamiatnoye], Volga German colony. She was the sister of Fr. Franz Rauh and lived with him as his housekeeper. In 1930 – arrested in the case against German Catholic clergy and laity. Charged with having obtained from acquaintances a foreign passport for Fr. Franz so that he could hide during the mass arrests. Sentenced to three years’ exile. Sent to Kazakhstan (?). Fate thereafter unknown.
