Biography of Praskovia Pomanskaya

Lived in Moscow and was a parishioner of the Russian Catholic parish of the Nativity of the Most Holy Virgin Mary that met in the Abrikosovs’ apartment. In July 1928 she was arrested and sentenced to five (?) years in the corrective labor camps. Fate thereafter unknown. We present an excerpt from the statements by Iraida Prudovskaya about the Pomanskis at her interrogation January 23, 1934: “In 1928 they gave me a library of Christian religious literature for safekeeping. Soon thereafter they were arrested and sent to the concentration camps and the library remained with me.” Source: Abrikosova et al. (1934)
