Biography of Maria Pinczuk-Smolska

Description:
Born into a peasant family in Usevichi, Lida district, Vilna province in 1893. Lived in Leningrad, worked as a teller at a savings bank and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. In April 1932 – arrested in a case against Catholic clergy and laity (Proncketis and others). In June 1932 – released from prison “for lack of facts constituting a crime.” Fate thereafter unknown.
