Biography of Olga Petrova

- Born into a family of the nobility in St. Petersburg in 1902. Lived in Leningrad and worked as a statistician at Leningrad Regional Planning Department. In 1924 she converted to Catholicism and became a member of Notre Dame parish. Maintained regular contact with Fr. Jean Amoudrou, O.P., preparing for entry into the Third Order of St. Dominic. May 8, 1931 – arrested in the case against Fr. Stefan Wojno and others. Released from prison “for lack of facts constituting a crime.” Fate thereafter unknown. Source: Shkarovskii, p. 276
