Biography of Catherine Lobacz

Description:
Born into a peasant family in the village of Zasov, Osovsk county, Borisovsk district, Minsk province. Lived in Leningrad and belonged to Immaculate Heart of Mary parish. From 1917 to 1918 she attended meetings of “Christian Democrat,” later she served on a committee to aid the exiled Bishop Antoni Malecki. In April 1932 she was arrested in connection with the case against Fr. Proncketis and others. June 19, 1932 – sentenced to three years exile in Kazakhstan [OGPU Collegium]. Fate thereafter unknown.
