Biography of Hochfelder

Lived in Moscow and was an official with the Volga German Autonomous Republic trade mission. He assisted with the preparation of documents for young women from the Volga German Republic who wanted to exit the USSR to enter convents in Germany and Austria. In 1930 he was drawn into a case against Catholic clergy and laity. Charged with “actively working to recruit young parishioners from the Volga German Republic and send them abroad to convents in Austria.” Convicted. Fate thereafter unknown.
