Biography of Johannes Haberkorn
- Description:
- Lived in Göbel, a German colony on the Lower Volga, Kamensk district. Worked on his own farm and was a member of the parish council of the local church. In 1929 he was arrested in a case against “a counter-revolutionary group of kulak colonists” and sentenced under Article 61 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to three years’ exile to Siberia.
