Biography of Father Stanisƚaw Baranowski

Born into a family of the nobility in Dvinsk, Vitebsk province, November 30, 1887. Graduated from a post-secondary technical school. In 1909 he was living in St. Petersburg and working as the head of the department for communication services of the Northwest Railroad. In 1921 he began studying in the underground seminary that met in Bishop Malecki’s apartment in Petrograd. In 1925, after completing seminary, he was arrested and deported to Poland.
